Bottling at Grand River Spirits
Experience a Southern Illinois whiskey bottling.
We bottle a batch of either Red Eye or True Kinship Whiskey approximately once every three weeks or so, usually on Saturdays. A typical bottling day brings in a bottling crew of about 12 volunteers. The day starts about 9am and lasts till noon or 1pm.
You’ll be on the bottling line, working side-by-side with our distillers and staff, unloading glass, corking, labeling, capping, shrinking, tagging, boxing and being our quality control. All you have to bring is a great attitude, love for whiskey, and some closed-toed shoes.
Lunch is on us – and at the end of the day you’ll walk away with a bottle of Red Eye or True Kinship Whiskey that you bottled!
Sign up to be part of our next bottling event.
Details: Our list of volunteers is growing fast! We randomly choose 20 names to email for each event. The first 12 people to respond back will make it onto the crew. (Please do not call or email to ask for a special exception – we do it this way to keep things fair.)
IMPORTANT: If you have been confirmed for a crew, we expect you to arrive at the distillery on time! If you do not report for a crew after you have been confirmed, we will have to permanently remove your name from the volunteer list.
